“Brunching” and day-long drinking *fests* seem to be the new theme for the twenty-somethings. Often going out in the afternoon means that you could be out well into the night. This leads to the dilemma of “what can I wear not that will still look good/be weather appropriate for the night?” Here are three simple ideas on how to make your outfit work for both day and night…
1.Add a Jacket or Sweater
This is the most obvious/basic way to change it up from day-to-night. Throw on a jacket or sweater to change-up the look of your all day outfit and to keep you comfortable as the sun goes down. I recommend keeping a sweater or jacket in your car or at your friend’s place just incase you aren’t able to make it back to your place in between activities!

2. Simple to Slay
Another simple trick, but it really can change the entire look and feel of the same outfit. The daytime look with the sunnies, sneakers & romper is simple and effortless, but add the clear heels and the game is changed. I also added a kimono for an added switch up and to tie the rebellious style shoes into the innocent looking romper. The heel/fringe kimono look make the romper look more night-life approved, while still keeping it playful.

3. Tom-Boy to OH Boy! Look at Her
Incase you haven’t noticed, I L O V E shoes, so I being able to rock two pair with the same outfit reallllly makes me smile. This is probably the day-to-night switch up that I rock the most. Take a simple outfit- plain tee and shorts (pictured), tee-shirt dress, whatever you prefer… pair that with a simple pair of sneakers and let it be. When night-time rolls throw on some heels and tie that tee-shirt up, add some sex appeal, ya know?! If you go the route of a teeshirt or sweatshirt dress, add a corset belt or fishnets and heels and BAM, brand new you.
