AshlieHipp x Animal Friends: Spring Puppies

Everyone wants a puppy. In the springtime more than ever. Puppies at Animal Friends is a hard thing to come by. However, yesterday there were two different litters. One with three puppers, one with only one. As soon as I walked in and saw them, I knew they wouldn’t be there long… I was right.

1. Daisy, Tulip & Oleander

Daisy and Tulip are the adorable sister of the mini meatball himself, Oleander. These little babes are about two months old and are dachshund mixes. The three of them are as playful as they are snuggly! All took temporary breaks hanging out on my lap for some lovin’s before racing back to steal the small squeaky toy from their siblings!

I have sad news for anyone that was interested in them…. they’re gone. Before I could even finish editing this post my friend Christina called me to let me know that her husband called to see if they were still there and they are not. A win for the pups, a loss for those of us who didn’t get to take them home.

2. Cupid

Cupid is a female Plott Hound mix… if I was in the situation to get a pup, she would have come home with me. She was super chill, probably because she just woke up from a nap, but started to warm up and want to play towards the end of our time together. She was the sweetest little smuggler.

I’m not sure if Cupid is still available, but if she is and you’re interested… better move quick. These pups don’t hang around Animal Friends very long.

Since most people in the market are looking for puppies, adoptable older dogs often get left in shelters like Animal Friends. If you’re looking for a dog, please consider adoption. An older dog can love you just as well as a pup. I hope all of you enjoyed both of my first AshlieHipp x Animal Friends posts! Look out for more in the near future.
