Ice Roller

The Benefits

  • Calms inflammation
  • Helps reduce swelling and to de-puff
  • Soothes redness
  • Shrinks capillaries
  • Skin feels firmer
  • Great for acne and sensitive skin types
  • Promotes relaxation

In addition, ice rollers, overtime have been shown to eliminate or lessen breakouts and redness, in addition to firming the skin.

How Does it Work?

Ice rollers stimulate circulation of blood and lymph which helps reduce inflammation. Being that inflammation is one of the biggest contributors to premature aging, rosacea, acne, seborrheic dermatitis, and psoriasis, ice rolling is beneficial for everyone no matter what skin type you have.

Everyday Uses for Your Ice Roller

In the morning… After you wash your face and apply your daily moisturizer, but before your SPF and makeup. This will help you wake up, aid in product penetration and reduce any puffiness in your face.

Then again at night… Right before bed, after you’ve applied ALL the skincare in your line up. The end goal here is to promote relaxation and, of course, product penetration.

Other Times to Use Your Ice Roller

Soothe Breakouts – After washing your face and applying your Retinol serum, use the ice roller to help with product penetration and to soothe the skin.

Roll Out Sore Muscles– #fitfam this one is for you! Use your ice roller to ease post workout muscle tightness. Bonus: apply Biofreeze before you start to roll!

Treat your Hangover Headache – Pop a couple of Advil, lay back on your couch and spend a few minutes applying light pressure with you ice roller to wherever it hurts… trust me, it helps.

Your Favorite Sheet Mask’s Best Friend – This is mainly for product penetration, but also helps just relax TF out of you.

Use an Ice Roller to Treat Burns – Curling iron accident? Forget your SPF? Slap some aloe on it and roll out, baby! Not only will the ice roller help the skin absorb the aloe, it will also help cool your skin down.

After a Wax– Did you know that your ice roller can help you post wax, lady parts or else where?! Well, it sure can! Grab some aloe, like above, or just use it on it’s own to soothe and reduce redness.
