Happy August, all! This year is FLYING by, and since it’s been months since I brought you an “A-Z” post, I decided that today would be a good day to do it. If you’re new to following me, it’s also a great way for you to get to know the girl behind the screen.

Animals
Seriously though. I’m the only one in my immediate family that is obsessed with animals. My parents and Billy don’t share the same love at all. I really think they found me on their doorstep.
Black
I like my clothes the way I like my cat… black. Black is my go-to color. It goes with everything *except brown* and makes you look thinner. Plus you can’t ruin your clothes with coffee stains!
Cheese
I don’t know where to begin. Cheese completes me, it makes me whole. I know wholeheartedly that if I ever wanted to go vegan, cheese would stop me. Don’t tell me they make “vegan cheese” that tastes the same. I don’t want to hear your lies. Melted cheese is my one true passion in life, I know I’ll be able to tell the difference.
Dancing
I took dance from ages 2-12 and then again for a couple of years in high school. I now use those talents occasionally on the McFadden’s bar for Steeler Sunday. However, I’m a sucker for dance videos. It’s probably why I still watch Beyoncé’s 2013 Super Bowl performance regularly on YouTube.
Eating
Gasp. I EAT. I eat a lot actually. My favorite dishes are tacos, pizza and grilled cheese & tomato soup. I told you, my true passion in life is melted cheese. Gosh, I love melted cheese.
Football
Okay, I’m not one of those girls who’s like “omfg I love football!“, but doesn’t know an I from a Spread Formation. I know my sh*t. I’m 99.9% positive that my Dad, bless his heart, feared he’d never have a son so he was going to make me a tomboy or die trying… The first things I remember him teaching me were both how to tackle and how to not fumble when being tackled. I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Gifs
My texts message threads are riddled with them. For awhile they were the cover media on my blog posts, gifs really make my world go ’round. My current favorites are all Cardi B. I’m pretty sure her and I are twins that were separated at birth. Okurr!
Home Decor
Marshall’s, TJ Maxx and Ross can kill my bank account in 5 minutes… just with home decor. I’m obsessed. I even push my decorating onto my friends’ places and send them Pinterest inspo and/or actual items at the store to go buy. I’m the worst influence.
IC Light Mango
Go ahead. Judge me. I even judge me. It’s just so refreshing and it tastes like summer. Plus most beer makes me sick, I usually stick to ciders and liquor, but that gets both expensive and dangerous. For some reason IC Light Mango doesn’t make me sick at allll.
Junk Food
I’m not a big healthy eater. I love snacking… on junk food. One day I’ll give them up and stick to it, but for now I’m taking my failed attempts as lessons to just not try.
Kentucky
Coach Cal, what up, daddyyyy! I’ve been a huge UK b-ball fan since the John Wall days… which now seem like forever ago don’t they?! I almost named Blayze, my cat, John. When Bobby Mo beat Kentucky in the NIT I got to touch Coach Cal and almost started hyperventilating. I love him.
Loyalty
If I could describe myself one way it would be “loyal and honest to a fault”. The issue with this is that I find it’s hard to get the same amount of loyalty and honesty that I put out. As I get older, I find that loyalty is something that I put a lot of weight into, some don’t, but it’s very important to me.
Make Up
For those of you who don’t know I am a licensed esthetician and MUA in the state of PA. I do makeup mostly for fun! Although I do have an airbrush machine and have done makeup for several weddings, photo shoots and events…. it really is just a fun hobby of mine! NBR Extensions
My life savers. I got Natural Beaded Row extensions in the middle of June and have been literally obsessed ever since. I’ve had tape ins, keratin bonded and even DIY glue-ins from Sally’s and I’ve never ever been happier. The hair quality is astounding, the grow out is epic and unlike anything I’ve experienced with extensions and they are so low maintenance. Onyx
Black onyx is said to absorb and transform negative energy thus helping to prevent the drain of personal energy. Simply put, they’re pretty and they make me feel better and more positive.
Plants
This is a new-found love and it’s quickly taking over my apartment. I don’t know if I get the ones that don’t need a ton of TLC, but I only really water them when I remember and they’re really thriving. Fun fact the plants I’ve had the longest are all from Walmart and when I get them other places they die in a few weeks. Makes you wonder, doesn’t it.
Quiet
I’m a simple girl, I like quietly sitting on my phone in the same room as someone, but not speaking to them. It’s the best of both worlds… being alone and not being lonely.
Ring
My ring that I wear, originally on my left thumb, now on my right middle finger for sizing reasons, was a gift from my Mom and I never take it off. She has a matching one so it’s super special.
Skincare
As I mentioned before I am a licensed esthetician… I love skincare. I could talk skincare and products all day. Please message me or email me any questions you have… if I’m unable to answer, I’ll find you the answer because that just means I get to learn something new too!
Tacos
I’m not sure this is a road any of us want me to go down. My love for tacos knows no boundaries… no walls, if you will. My favorite spot to get them in Pittsburgh is currently Condado. I feel like they should just sponsor me because of the amount of people I either send or take there. If you go, I recommend trying at least one “JuJu” and some Queso.
Unicorns
U is hard… unicorns are cool, I really like Lisa Frank style unicorns and I mean come on… a horse with a horn, can you get any cooler?!
Violet
Purple, specifically the shade violet has always been my favorite color. There was awhile where I would tell guys at the bar my name was Violet. My friend Liv still calls me Violet so I RSVP’d to her wedding as such.
Writing
Writing is my escape. It always has been and I’m praying it always will be it. Despite blogging being more work than most full time jobs, writing never feels like a task for me. I think that’s why I’m able to pump out so many unique blog posts per month. Creating and writing going hand in hand… my bliss.
